Who Can Attend?
This workshop is intended for beginners to intermediate practitioners.

Workshop Features
The first class will focus on beginners (practitioners in their first year of classes), and the forthcoming classes will progress to experienced beginner instruction and reach until intermediate instruction and practice. The classes later in the workshop will challenge those with a regular and ongoing practice of two or more years but will also give modifications and space for beginning students.

What is ARISE?

ARISE is a teaching tool rooted in ancient yogic tradition and unique to Amrita Yoga.  Amrita Yoga aims to transcend the physical asana practice to yoga’s original meaning and purpose.  This teaching tool gives applicable concepts and methodology to living and practicing the spiritual path, the possibility of moving beyond the lower human tendencies and towards enlightenment.  Experience the unique teaching technique of Amrita Yoga, and explore possibilities to ARISE in life.

Connection with Pancha Prana Vayus

The retreat will explore the pancha prana vayus or the five vital airs: prana, apana, samana, vyana, udana. The focus of the hatha yoga on pancha prana vayus supports leading a balanced, harmonious life, optimizing the functioning of these energy centers and uplifting our health and wellbeing.
