Why Focus on Spinal health?

The spine is like a central nervous system. Exploring the range of motion in its different parts, we discover how it works as a center and substratum in both asana and daily life. Inner harmony leads naturally to outer harmony; feeling well makes us more active and sociable, thus increasing our self-confidence. On a more subtle level, we are more happy, stable, and still with a healthy spine and prana shakti flowing freely through all seven chakras in balance.

Maitri from France

“This course helped me understand how to take good care of my spine and body. It helped me realize that the body is the temple we must look after in order to progress on the spiritual path. The explanations were very clear and precise, especially for the breathing and postures. It is a great help to go on with yoga without hurting oneself and knowing how to protect the spine.” – Maitri, Age 61

Sudhaker from USA

“The class gave me the opportunity to learn awareness of the lumbar, thoracic, and cervical spine while doing yoga. It also taught me how to keep the spine safe while doing the asana practice.” – Sudhaker, Age 49

Jan from Singapore

“This was a good introduction to bringing awareness to the spine. The teacher, Shobana, was knowledgeable, patient and observant of each student. The lessons were planned well to focus on a different theme for each class. Good attention to bringing more awareness to life’s activities.” – Jan, Age 25
